Teen Closet is a youth driven
initiative that started with the intent to fill in the age and
style gap that current clothing banks have. The Bellevue Youth
Council made the project into an action team, and had its
first event in 2001. Recently, Plato's Closet, a second hand
clothing store for teens, joined the project to become the
main supplier of donations. In February, 2005, Bellevue Youth
Council partnered up with the World Impact Network to improve
the effectiveness of the project.
If you are interested in donating
items, please drop them off at our new location (see above
address).
Much of the
clothing is currently supplied by individual donors and
Plato's Closet, a used clothing store located in Bellevue.
